                          The sun is powered by nuclear fusion. It is easy to calculate at which temperatures nuclear fusion would occour. I did all the calculations abd posted it here. Please go back ~20 or so pages and read up on it.

                          Also please stop saying that everyone but the pastor used assumptions hence we are not providing valid numbers. The pastor also assumed numbers. He took the work of others (spectroscopy) and he did not prove that the mathematics he used was true... Still I am not laughing at his work, but you are at mine.

                          Really, read up on my long post about 20 pages ago, I even calculated what would happen if the sun was made of coal and how long it would burn. All this has been answered already.

                              Again based on assumptions. It seems to me if God is able to create everything he is also capable of either making coal that burns forever or made a way for the angels to keep adding fresh coal to the fire.
