Yes He is and yes I have.... multiple thousands of times I have read the KJV1611.
John 1:1-2, 14, 18

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He was with God in the beginning.... The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth....

No one had ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father’s side, has made him known.

• “With God”, showing that Jesus the Son is a distinct Person from God the Father. (in the flesh he HAD to be seen that way as no one had seen God)

• But He also “was God”, showing His full Deity with God the Father.

• John calls Jesus “God ... at the Father’s side.”

• Matthew calls Him “God with us.”

Luke 2:11, For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.

John 4:42 ...we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.

•• Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world (Matthew 1:23 ...give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.).

• Jesus is the the Christ, the Anointed One Israel was expecting from God because He IS GOD.

• Jesus correctly asserted His Deity and His equality with God the Father (John 20:28 Thomas said to [Jesus], “My Lord and my God!”).

He IS “one” with God the Father.

JJohn 17:4-5

I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. [5] And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Prior to His coming to earth, Jesus shared equally the Father’s glory in eternity past.

Luke 3:15-16,

And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not; [16] John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.


• Along with His Deity, Jesus possessed full humanity whilst being GOD.

John 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

Whether you like it or not, JESUS IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN GOD!

I presume by your reply you CANNOT cite example?

For the record too Missy, we DO get more than our fair share of mockery and name-calling. It is the cross we bare, following Jesus. We however realize that we are to rejoice in the mockery, as Jesus at all times is watching over us, ensuring that no real harm comes our way.

Words are just words and they are nothing against the armour the Lord protects us with.

Perhaps you get so upset by it because you let the very trivial things in life get to you. If that is the case, I feel sorry for you and will pray that you will become more confident in who you are, and appreciate why God placed you on His beautiful earth to begin with.

You are so very stoic, Mrs. Dewitt. I witness first hand the hatred of the atheists and liberals who come on this site to persecute all things Godly. It is thanks to the Lord and our own wells of inner strength that we are able to hold our heads high, knowing that everyone who disagrees with us will be tortured for all eternity without pause. Poor us. Let us continue to rejoice in the Lord's humble blessings and show our gratitude for his mercy.

The distinction in not believing in something that has no evidence to support its existence, and not believing in something that is obviously real.

For example, if I didn't believe that cars exist, that doesn't mean I won't get run over if I decide to stand in the middle of a busy highway. Likewise, just because you don't believe in God doesn't mean you won't get to spend an eternity in Hell.

It doesn't matter if you don't hate God, you will still be punished for not believing in Him.

"Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee." But to retort, Theism is a beleif in an idol(s)/deitie(s)/god(s). The suffix "A" means lackthereof, fo Atheism means lackthereof idol(s)/deitie(s)/god(s), so that pretty much sums up why an Atheist would have no fear of hell or of a creator's judgement, because they do not think such place exists. So, asking an Atheist why they are willing to go the hell is rather silly, because, as I said before, they lack such a beleif. To an Atheist, there is no distinction between a unicorn or God.

But, bear in mind, I have no ill feelings toward Christians, I simply lack their incandescent spirituality. However, I do envy Christians in their beleif of an afterlife; Such an existence would be wonderful.

Also, you're probably musing as to why an Atheist would come to a Christian forum to discuss religion. I have a kind of thirst for culture, probably because I travelled often as a child/teenager, and I was curious about Christianity. I wanted to experience a different viewpoint of the world, because if you only look at one way of thinking, you will remain an ignorant. I'm interested in the Christian faith, seeing as it is the foundation of western society. But to keep a long story short, I'm gonna leave off here. Thanks for reading.
