Re: Wives!! Stay in your abusive marriage!!
You forget yourself and speak like a 21st century feminist, not a Bible Believing Christian. You see, True Christians™ know how to stay safe in today's world fraught with such dangers as rape, terrorism, and the witty barbs of Jon Stewart.
We are teaching our children it's important to read the Holy Bible, believe the Holy Bible, and follow the Holy Bible, as it is the only way to do our duty (Ecclesiastes 12:13). Our children know that the LORD often uses physical reminders when reprimanding those whom He loves (Deuteronomy 8:5; Psalm 94:12; Lamentations 3:39; Revelation 3:19). In the same way, the husband reprimands the wife whom He loves (1 Corinthians 11:3).

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
Romans 13:3-4
Do you deny the husband is to rule over the wife? For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
Romans 13:3-4
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Genesis 3:16
I think the real issue here is that you're afraid to give up your autonomy. You're afraid to give up control. What you don't know is that the moment you do that, you leave yourself open to attacks by Satan. Stay under the umbrella of authority as God designed for the benefit of women, and you will be safe.Genesis 3:16
