Everyone here knows guns don't shoot people. Crazy mentally ill nutjobs shoot people. People who want to ban guns are the absolute CRAZIEST people out there. Followed by atheists, sex offenders and gays (a lot of overlap in those groups).

The only sensible solution to gun violence is to lock up anyone who disagrees with us on gun control. If we don't get our way, brother Alex Jones has already warned THEM what will happen. It's THEM who are out to get US, remember? They have CIA agents dressed up as bums on the street following us. There are secret recording devices everywhere. You know, that's why they banned lead paint - their spy satellite cameras can't see through it.

That's why we need to hold on to our guns. To protect ourselves from spy satellites. DON'T STEP ON ME!!! Step on the people who are mental or unemployed screw ups.

I agree wholeheartedly. Guns aren't the problem: It's the mental cases, the mongos, the dope addicts, the retardeds, the half-wits, the drooling imbeciles of the world who ruin it for us Normal people! Back in the day, folks had the common decency to keep their relatives locked-up in the attic or ship them off to the funny farm if they turned nutjob. Lock 'em up is what I say! They can't understand the glory of Jesus anyway!

It's their demons we should be dealing with. Here we see the proper biblical method of getting rid of demons and how effective it is. Gay demons are no less terrible than shooting up schools demons.

I agree that we should lock up the insane, as long as we don't restrict their access to guns. After all, an insane asylum is a dangerous place, what with all the crazies around. You'd need at least a AR-15 with 30 rounds, and another 30 rounds in your sidearms - and that's only sufficient if you get attacked by less than 61 inmates before you get a chance to reload.

Also, someone needs to invent some sort of mouth-operated gun that can be used when you're in a straightjacket.

I too agree.

These demented people need to be secured away where decent people do not have worry about them. Back when I was young, all a person had to do was tell the police that a person was off their rocker. They would come with the white wagon and a couple of orderlies and whisk the person away. If the person eventually felt better, they would get released though I never saw any of the people I reported again. Good riddance too, they were all nut jobs!

At the very least, psychiatrists and psychologists and all therapists ought to register their patients with local authorities. These patients should have written permission to attend public functions, and maybe even get permission from the public first. Also, I think if they were registered with the local Bible Believing Baptist Church, that would help against the demonic forces that surround them.

Just thinking out loud because they frighten me. They really do. Did you know almost everyone involved in mass shootings over the last years has been seen by a psychiatrist or psychologist at least once? They should at least be registered. And maybe publicly identified.

Why don't we just lock up everybody who has ever been to a psychiatrist They went to see them for a reason... If they weren't crazy they hadn't gone.

Lots of great ideas in this thread. Hallelujah! I certainly haven't heard anything near as intelligent and sensible coming from Washington Daemon Central.

I really like Dr Zoidberg's suggestion, but what should really happen is that a person must register as a Christian to get access to more righteous firearms such as automatics (yes, I'm recommending a complete overall including on that older ban against machine guns).

Now here me out. We all know that True Christians™ either turn the other cheek or put down heathens that are going to Hell anyway, so it stands to reason that we are the only ones that can be trusted with decent weapons. Now, if this law were to pass, all kinds of unsaved trash would be registering as Christian just to get a weapon

This is OK and expected, because it's better than the situation we have in our country today anyway. What we then need to do is have people PROVE how Christian they are by attending mandatory church sermons at a recognized Baptist church. I realize that at first there would be dangerous Mudslims-in-flocked-clothing in the house of the Lord, but at least their brains would get a good scrubbing while they put in their mandatory hours-per-week listening to sermons and performing community service, so this measure would have the extra benefit of terrorist cells getting disabused of the 69 virgins-in-Allah-heaven notion and tons of thwarted missions. Can I get an Amen?

Brothers and Sisters,

So many great ideas being posted here! We should indeed lock up the nuts. I would say that anyone who is a registered Democrat or is known to have voted Democrat is definitely nuts and should be locked up, or at the very least be banned from voting for life. We just can't take any chances when it comes to protecting our precious freedoms.

By the way, in case you all haven't heard, the thing that started this whole gun control debate - the alleged Sandy Hook shooting, turns out to be a hoax. That's right, the shooting never happened! It was staged by Obama and other Marxists for the sole purpose of seizing guns from patriotic right-thinking American citizens! Read the proof:
