    Dangerous Revival of Egyptian Religion.

Christianity has many enemies, all inspired by false gods and prophets who are servants of the Anti-Christ. However, it came as a surprise to see that a new front has opened up, and not content with such fake religions as Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Atheism, Wicca, New Age garbage, and Catholicism, there is a new kid on the block.

The writers pursue their close-minded approach and conveniently forgetting how Moses defeated the Egyptian magicians by Yahweh’s power… but read on… http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...1217151651.htm

[Scientist so called have] revealed that the periods of Algol (2.85 days) and the Moon (29.6 days) strongly regulate the actions of deities in this calendar.

"Until now, there were only conjectures that many of the mythological texts of the Cairo Calendar describe astronomical phenomena. We can now unambiguously ascertain that throughout the whole year the actions of many deities in the Cairo Calendar are connected to the regular changes of Algol and the Moon," says Master of Science Sebastian Porceddu.

This research confirms that the first variable star, as well as its period, were discovered much earlier than was previously thought. These two "classical" milestones in the history of natural sciences need to be shifted three millennia backwards in time to 1244 -- 1163 BC.

This also confirms the two "modern" astrophysical results reported by the Helsinki group in the year 2013: The first direct observation ever of the expected increase of Algol's period and the accurate long--term estimate for the mass transfer in this binary system.

"I would have serious doubts, if someone claimed, for example, that the Bible contains information about water in Mars. We claimed that Ancient Egyptian religious texts contain astrophysical information about Algol. It was no surprise to us that there were, and there still are, skeptics," says docent Lauri Jetsu.

The research also confirms that the brightest phases of Algol and the Moon had particularly positive meanings for the Ancient Egyptians.
I suppose that the first reaction to this is “Who’s going to believe some liars from an Eskimo country with a language nobody can speak? How are we ever going to check their work?”

But to answer conclusively their question of the Bible and water on Mars: I have already addressed this in my short monograph “The Creation of Everything as seen by God Himself” and I recently sent an email containing an extract to an unbeliever who asked the same question:

    Subject: Genesis Flood and Mars

    Dear Vile Atheist:

Thank you for your interest in
“The Creation of Everything as seen by God Himself”.
I enclose the relevant part of my book that you should strongly consider buying:

Quote page 199: About 85% of a comet’s mass is frozen water. Therefore to understand comet origins, one must ask, “Where is water found?” Earth … must head the list … other planets, moons and even interstellar space have only traces of water, or possible water. These traces, instead of producing the comets, may have been caused by comets or water vapor that the “fountains of the great deep” launched into space [at the beginning of the Genesis Flood]. Quote continued, page 200. How could so many comets have recently hit the moon, and probably the planet Mercury [and Mars] that ice remains? Ice on the Moon and certainly on Mercury [and Mars] should disappear faster than the comets that deposited it. However, if 50,000 comets were ejected recently [5,000 years ago] from the Earth and an “ocean” of water vapor was injected into the inner solar system, the problem disappears. Comet impacts on Mars probably created brief saltwater flows, carving the famous “erosion” channels.

The theory proposes that prior to the Genesis Flood there was an annular space between the Earth’s outer shell and the solid inner core. That space was maintained by supporting pillars between the shell and the core and was filled with hot salty water under pressure. At the time of the Flood the outer shell cracked down the center of what is today the Atlantic Ocean and the crack continued around the world at the ocean bottoms; there is abundant evidence for this. The Genesis Flood was initiated by this fracture opening to release the water jetting into space, breaking up into frozen balls and becoming orbiting comets. Evidently, some of these comets have since hit the Moon, Mercury and, in recent discoveries, possibly Mars. In another place I point out that on these planetary bodies the ice turned to water that left evidences of its presence by gullies, canyons etc but in the very low atmospheric pressures, this water quickly vaporized.

Yours In Christ (where you should be)

    E Bathfire.
But the critical point is the way these Finnish heathens dressed in animal skin and communication solely in vowels have twisted their report:

Note how they imply that the Egyptian gods “react to the seasons and the stars” – God does not do this. In the past He has stopped the earth and given unseasonal rains and droughts. The seasons obey God, not God the seasons!

If you have any reports of Egyptian funny business, I want to know about them.

That's because God has so ordered it. If you were a True Christian(tm) instead of a narcotic addicted jig then you might understand that.

Sure, because having seven (or is it nine? I always forget) souls, some of which are more immortal than others, is as logical as having one solid immortal soul. (Not.)

There's a reason it's "ancient" (i.e., no longer practiced): IT'S WRONG, and even the Egyptians figured that out.

How do you know it's wrong? How is your God any different from theirs? Do you have proof your religion is right? What makes your beliefs better than theirs? They would probably say the same thing about your beliefs.

Well, there can only be one God (Isaiah 44:6, 1 Corinthians 8:6, etc. etc.) and He is not described in any Egyptian "religion" so you do the math.

If you had in fact read the Bible you would know that, but you haven't so you don't.

Please don't lie about reading the best and most popular book in the history of mankind...it only serves to make you look pitiful.

Demands proof for others' cases, implies they're idiots for believing such in the absence of satisfactory (to him) proof, yet will proudly state his own unproven case as fact, then wonders why nobody likes him.
