When I arrive at the petrol station, they always have oil. As I've never seen it run out, why should I believe it does some time in the future?
To make a comparison, I do not believe either that the sun stops to shine tomorrow. Why? Because the sun has been shining for 6000 years! Why would it stop tomorrow?
The same applies to oil.

It's not that simple. And we are not against science.

Even those who are not Christian will have to admit scientists are not always right. For example sometimes they falsify results to get more grants, things like that. Example: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/env...-glaciers.html. You claim to be a person of the world, so I assume you already know these things.

And just like everyone does not agree with everything labeled "scientific", we True Christians do exactly the same. We do however have higher standards for what we agree on based on the Holy Bible so several things you would consider to be scientific, will be a hoax according to us. The big global warming hoax being an example of that, although by now more and more people seem to catch up on that one.

With science it is always important to determine the story behind the scientist when judging how serious one has to take his results. Who is paying the bills for example.

Being an atheist I must however agree with Cranky on this one, science is made by humans, and humans are fallible. You must choose wisely wich studies are correct or not.For example you probably don't believe in God or the Bible, however you must admit that there are some really good and wise things on the Bible...The same thing aplies to science, there are some good and true things, but there are also a lot of scams and they also choose what to believe when it comes to the science subject....

In the end, humans are fallible...

If you read my post you would see that I only do not want anybody discussing the point to bring up something that was already brought up, I wasn't even saying anything directed to you or any of your True Christian friends so back off True Disciple, if you don't want me to have attention then just ignore me, I would prefer that from you.

Unfortunately the person who did actually go back to read the other posts stopped only part way through.
And btw you never PROVED me wrong, but you just can't stand the idea of my being right, there is a BIG difference.
