I'm offended by heathens that try to force their ungodly beliefs upon me. Only True Christians should be legally aloud to go door-to-door, because we spread the truth not lies!

I am a jolly, good-hearted fellow, and it takes quite a bit to annoy/offend me. However, I am offended most by television and the message it sends to our children.

I was enjoying a Godly episode of Little House on the Prairie, when the show cuts to a commercial. Shown is a man trying to keep the interest of his daughter, who appears to be 1 year of age or less. The whole time he is playing peek-a-boo, the obviously demon daughter magically redecorates the walls, window coverings, and carpet. This hapless husband (I question calling him a husband, frankly) does not realize his child's witchcraft until the end of the commercial, which shows his wife out selecting these things - alone.

1. She is not at home taking care of their child - and it's obvious this child is in need of exorcism.

2. She is shopping alone for something other than groceries. Should not a man make the decisions regarding how his home is to be appointed? And should he not paint, carpet, etc. while his wife brings him cool drinks and wipes his brow and rinses brushes and tells him what a wonderful job he is doing? Is there a man out there that will give me a rousing amen?

And now there is a woman on the Church Channel giving a lecture to a group of men about being a good husband? I almost spit out my lemonade, prepared by my handy wife, Jennifer, who sends her love and her prayers to all. Listen to just a few of her suggestions to "Men Whose Wives will Respect Them:"

A. Compliment her and tell her how much she is appreciated through unexpected cards, flowers, or offering to take care of the children for a week.

B. Share the fellowship of her friends. Invite the ladies of the church over and read a Bible verse to them, give your thoughts about it, pray for them, and then LEAVE so the women can discuss things among themselves. Chances are their comments will include how wonderful you are!

C. Tell her how lovely she is even when she is not wearing makeup.

D. Go on a double date with your pastor and his wife. Share a word of prayer regarding Biblical marriages, asking God to bless your pastor and to bless your own marriage. LAY HANDS ON ONE ANOTHER - the man with the man, the woman with the woman - to be discreet.

E. Allow her to make decisions that affect the household on occasion. Men, you need a break, and your wives need to know that they are respected and trusted. God wants women to feel good about themselves! (She did not provide any Biblical proof of this)

Have we let our television stations become so Godless that these things are pervasive? What happened to Andy Griffith, June Cleaver going to the PTA meetings and actually caring about her home, Pa Ingalls building a cross to keep his son alive, and other more realistic things? I am going to go pray with all my heart that these Jewish television owners find Jesus as Savior. In fact, does Landover have a ministry to the Jewish people? TV might be a good focal point.

No doubt there are countless men that have seen these abominations and went on to actually practice them. My sons were never left alone with me - I was too busy napping, fixing things around the home, praying, fishing, or going to the range to practice with my 38 revolver.

God have mercy on our world. Can I get a witness?

I am both offended and curiously allured by the idea of reverse mortgages.

On the one hand, credible, Godly GOP spokeman Fred Thompson reminds me that "reverse mortgages are a concept signed into law by Ronald Reagan."

But within a few sentences, he says that reverse mortgages are "government insured."

So which one is it, Sen. Thompson? Are reverse mortgages a Godly concept handed down to help senior citizens like me courtesy of America's Greatest President™, or are they a Socialist Nightmare?

P.S. In the commercial for reverse mortgages, Sen. Thompson jokingly asks a lowly newsboy who will NEVER have a realistic hope of getting a mortgage of any kind what his opinion is about reverse mortgages. He calls the dumbfounded newsboy "Jesse" in the commercial. But I happen to know from meeting Sen. Thompson at a 2003 fundraiser in Florida that he calls everyone he doesn't know "Jesse."

At the moment i am repairing parts of my garage. God has keep it in a good shape for the last 50 years but now water is dropping from the ceiling.
So i was bringing parts of it to the local dumpsite and some homer told me that he won't take it because there is asbestos in it.
Some of my Christian brothers worked years with asbestos and were quite healthy for a long time. I might throw that stuff into the next lake.

Perhaps the picture is implying that einstein is the dumb one and True Christians are the smart ones that he could never understand because he was always too busy following Satan. That would make more sense to me.
