Look, people, let's not all jump to conclusions. People with wealth, status and power, like Pastor Zeke and myself, are constantly the victim of unfounded rumors and exaggerated gossip. Heck, I'm always being harrassed with accusations that I am having improper relations with young women. There was even that hysterical college girl last month that tried to press charges against me, claiming that I violated her in a hotel room during one of my evangelical missions! Who would believe such a crazy girl? She obviously did drugs. Fortunately, Freehold Police Dept. wrote her off as a jealous lunatic trying to extort me for money and the charges were dropped. Besides as everyone close to me knows, I am a decent, True Christian™ pastor and would never, ever do anything like that. It's just not my character.

So if people can spread vicious rumors about a morally upright pastor like me, they can do so to with someone as Godly as Pastor Zeke. So, let's stop spreading these lies about Pastor Zeke (and you know who they are). He is not a Buddhist by any stretch. Heck, his private library has volumes on Zen Buddhism and meditation, and even though he has read all of those, he is not a Buddhist.

I do not understand what the big deal is. If Pastor Zeke likes the artifacts as art whats the big deal? Its not my first choice but God did make us all a little different( our choice of art any way) I think the foot 15 tall Buddha in His side yard looks cool.
You all stood behind me when i lined my 1500 foot long drive way with Lawn Jockey ornaments. Do you remember all the picket signs and all the Negroes that where screaming that I was a racist? Each and every one of you stood by my side as the Freehold Fire Dept. broke up the demonstration with a long blast from their hoses. Just remember what is art to one man is trash to another. Brothers, we must remember not to jump to hasty conclusions here. We are not a bunch of gossiping women, are we?

First of all, whatever the crisis is, be it large or small, remember: ALL ANSWERS ARE IN THE HOLY BIBLE!

So let's get started. First, God says the following about gossip:

Romans 1:28-32:

Of course, I still have mentioned my grave doubts as to Pastor Zeke's claims that this devilry would be compatible with True Christianity(tm), and quoted 2 Corinthians 6:14-17 and Deuteronomy 13:1-5 to support that.

But on the other hand, the Bible also teaches:

Luke 16:9:
And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.

This in fact means that Jesus allows us to make friends and win souls by playing into their unrighteous ways, which can be lust for money, as it is in this Verse, or false religion, like boodhism. But of course, if Pastor Zeke starts to study it, he must never forget that it is the devil's work, and that he cannot serve both God and Buddha, as we can read a few Verses onward:

Luke 16:13:
No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

My conclusion would be, that there is nothing wrong with studying the buddhist teachings, even pretending to be one, as long as your mission is converting them to Christianity and destroying their religion.

At lest Talitha will cite Scripture, like her claim that Deuteronomy 22:5 is the bases for her clients doing "dress up". Zeke hasn't done that yet.

Back on topic...
We must try to understand the strain put on our dear Pastor Zeke. Being a Pastor is not a job for the weak. He is responsible for leading God's Favorite Church on the path of salvation, all the while being vexed by the joos, lewd women and homos satan throws in his path. Perhaps Pastor Zeke is immersing himself in Booddhism to better understand the threat it poses to us all.
I have a life like doll of Tom Cruise in my bedroom I keep to remind me of the perils of pretty boy scientologists. The complaints my neighbors have made against me of screams of "Oh God!" during the night are simply the fervent prayers that God may keep us safe from the alien cultists.
It's very easy to assume the worst and make incorrect accusations.

you do know you can be a Buddhist AND a Christian right?
While Christianity is a religion, Buddhism is more along the lines of a 'way of life.'
buddhism for the most part just teaches you to be a good person and not be materialistic. thats it. no worshiping idols or anything. it technically isint a religion.
