    Actually, it kind of does...

26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

After baptism, there is neither Jew nor Greek...

And people complain that we take things out of context.

The last part of my previous post must have been overlooked, as well as the middle of my first post.

I respect all your beliefs and you are allowed to believe as you wish. In return I would request that my beliefs be respected as well.

I have heard many bad things about this site from other parts of the internet, but I myself have not visited this site. I am out to prove to myself and to others that the members of this site are not has horrible as they are made out to be.

Where in the Bible did you come up with the idea of "respecting" other people's beliefs?

GOD prescribes death and slaughter for those who do not follow and worship the One True GOD.

        Deuteronomy 13:6-9

Why not just follow the whole Bible, like the Bible says?

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: - 2 Timothy 3:16

How do you determine which parts of the Bible to disregard?

I want to live my life as a good person. My hobbies and my future job all revolve around being with people and helping them.

People do not like those who tell them they are wrong, and who are we to tell them they are wrong? We are nothing but humans. We cannot judge, only God can judge.

When my life ends and I am before God I will proudly tell him that I followed him my entire life, and that I lived a good life of helping and respecting all of his creations.

Also, when you are respectful to people about your beliefs it will get them interested. If you make them angry and tell them they are wrong then they will dislike you and want nothing to do with you or your beliefs.
I have had several people come to me and say "You are a nice guy. I want to learn to be like you." So I show them a Bible verse or two.

After showing them the Bible it lights a spark. That spark will either die, and they will continue being atheist, or the spark will ignite and their interest in God will grow.

We are permitted to judge in righteousness:

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. - John 7:24

When my life ends and I am before God I will proudly tell him that I followed him my entire life, and that I lived a good life of helping and respecting all of his creations.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. - Matthew 7:21

It is not enough to simply pay lip service to GOD.

Also, when you are respectful to people about your beliefs it will get them interested. If you make them angry and tell them they are wrong then they will dislike you and want nothing to do with you or your beliefs.
It is unfortunate that secular government has given people the choice to have nothing to do with our beliefs, but we hope the Republican party will fix that in 2012.

Nevertheless, what do you think GOD has in store for those who want nothing to do with us?

You really don't get it, do you.

What you are effectively saying is that you are free to make up God as you would like Him to be in your own heart.

The problem with that is that you're not actually listening to God.

You may as well be an atheist as cherry pick in the way you do and simply make up the rest. How do you decide which bits god really meant? Let me guess; the bits God really meant fit with your conscience. So if all we have to do is follow our conscience and pick the bits of the Bible we like why even bother with the Bible at all? Why not just all make up our own personal God?

Where's Christianity then? Everyone arguing constantly about what God really wants because everyone's God is different.

By the way, God specifically tells us not to follow false prophets, abandon sound doctrine and heap to ourselves teachers.

2 Timothy 4:1-5 1I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Oh look, that's you He's talking about.

We have a bad reputation, because people don't like being told what they are doing is wrong.

It sucks to be corrected. I don't like making mistakes, and I don't like when people tell me I make mistakes. BUT, i'd rather have someone tell me when I make a mistake, then go on making the same mistake over and over.

Wouldn't you rather have someone correct you, than continue going on doing the same wrong thing?

I trust my brothers and sisters here to correct me when I'm wrong. I welcome it. That way, I won't be wrong in the future.

I don't care that we have a bad reputation. I'm proud of it. Jesus said John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

I don't want to be of the world. I don't want the world to love me. I don't want to be happy with this world, I want to be RIGHT!

Would you rather be RIGHT, or loved by the world? I'd rather go worship the LORD. You seem to want to argue that the things you do, just aren't that bad, and at least you were happy.

                            That's just not biblical.

God gave us life so that we could enjoy it. He wouldn't create us for any other purpose.

According to Genesis 1:28, God made us to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.

The enjoyment (again) comes from the Declaration of Independence. I think you are getting the Bible and that confused again. You did in one of your first posts.

That men are created equal, and we all want "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness". That's not the Bible.

You should cut back on the American History study, and do some more Bible Study (I'm leading a study, if you'd like to follow along).
