3. Helping with the rise of Hitler and triggering WW2, which caused MILLIONS of deaths

If you mean Iceland, you would be incorrect as American military forces have been deployed to and stationed in Iceland since 1942 and were the largest part of the Iceland Defence Force from 1951 to 2006.
