1) Harry Potter does not claim to be the Word of God.

2) If you can't see the difference between waving sticks in people's faces and yelling nonsense at them, and actually KILLING THEM, then yes, you should be locked up.

As as been pointed out numerous times, yes the higher you go the farther you can see, but quite soon you reach a heighth where you can see everything.

The Bible records Jesus' reply. He did not mention being unable to see all the kingdoms. Are you suggesting that some of them were hidden from His view?

The Bible does not contain error. Just because some maniac spouts off garbage, falsehoods having no basis in reality, we are not about to relinquish our profession or to deny that Jesus, having ascended from the world, is now in Heaven.

Honey, I've been on the Namcha Barwa, which is 7756m high, I can most certainly tell you that I didn't see the end of the world... I've also been on airplanes, I flew from Europe to the USA, I also flew from Europe to China. Let me just tell you that I haven't seen the end of the world anywhere.

Suppose you bought flat-pack furniture from Ikea and you decided the assembly instructions were open to interpretation and didn't need to be followed to the letter. How do you think that would work out? It's the same with God's Word. If it's open to interpretation, what good is it? If you ignore bits of it and don't follow it to the letter, you're headed for disaster.

This is the most stupid argument I have ever heard, Brother Alex, the photos are photo shopped and the reason we all stay on the planets is because gravity acts upon everything relative to it's size so nothing is crushed or allowed to fly away. Gravity is a force that pulls everything as around it towards a central position, not into it. You can say that gravity has never been proven but neither has the existence of God so he is just a theory too. Nobody just flies off because we all move at the same speed as the Earth. When we jump, we still move with the Earth as we are in the atmosphere.
If the Earth was flat, then the horizon could not move, which it does based on your perception and position. The Sun is 150 million km away so we don't burn up. The Sun is bigger than us so we rotate around it. The Sun looks small because it is so far away. It is a simple optical illusion. Some stars don't look red because of red and blue shift. Read a book that wasn't written 1000 years ago and actually study proper science.
