Re: Questions that evolutionist can’t answer
Here's what I'm getting from the whole unicorns, Jupiter back and forth thing:
Nobody CARES what the ancient Romans believed any more.
George W. Bush did not become the leader of a world superpower because he alligned himself with the powerful Greco-Roman Mythology demographic here in America.
George W. Bush was elected president because many Americans believe in the Bible and Bush was able to speak to those beliefs. Now, it certainly is not George's fault that much of what people believe about the Bible is about as real as a false Roman god.
Never let it be said that GWB did not live up to his deepest held and firmly understood convictions.
It's not his fault that millions of Americans swear by -- and swear on -- a book they claim to believe was provided by divine revelation without really knowing what's in it.
The Bible and its teachings have relevance in the world today; the Olympic pantheon does not.
This is why we are devoted to our study of the Bible and are not particularly moved by arguments involving Jupiter.
You post a lot of smiley faces and you make a lot of claims for how you see the world, but how do you see the Bible? And do you understand its view on the world?
We want you to see it --without the rose-tinted glasses -- and without casting us as the villians just because we are the only folks willing to look at the Bible like grown ups.
Sincerely Yours,
Handmaiden
