I am an atheist, but I am trying to figure out why people believe in such hogwash. With the total lack of any evidence, you people still believe in delusions. If you were going to a car dealership and the employee said, "if you give me $20000 now, I will give you the most expensive, envious car sometime within the next three years, would you do it? That's what blind faith is. That's the same thing you do with your religion.

I would like to see any proof or evidence that suggests a deity exists, whether it be yours or another religions' deity. You cannot quote the Bible because that would be a logical fallacy known as circular reasoning (i.e. the Bible is the word of the God because the Bible says so).

How many of you own cellphones, computers, flat screen televisions, game consoles, movies and other material things? Isn't the Bible riddled with verses that say give all material things you don't need to the poor? If you're on the internet you're not doing what your deity tells you to do.

The only reason you people believe what you do is because you were indoctrinated at a young age. There are only two times in anyone's life where religion will be a choice and that is when you're emotionally, psychologically, physically and mentally exhausted, poor and/or drained. At a young age, you do not possess the ability to critically think or reason. It is very easy to indoctrinate children into something they do not understand. If you do not think this is true, then why do you people not wait until your children are of at least 18 years of age to share your beliefs? Taking advantage of a mentally/psychologically poor mind is against God's word, is it not? Is it because you know that no rational 18 year old will take religion seriously?

I would like these answers/statements addressed, please.
