It is actually quite interesting reading through all those pages. There seem to be lots of angry Icelanders trying to put some sense into the minds of christian nutcases. What they don't realize is that religion is the most potent and effective drug there is, it can be seen both in Christianity and in Islam, and it is not easy to "correct" the ways of those lost rambling sheeps.

Religion is in its true nature a very good thing, but sorry to say the Babptist Curch is not doing the world any favours with the harsh "let-them-all-die" stand they have. They seem to have forgotten many of the teaches of Jesus Christ about tolerance and forgiveness.

Actually there is a jet stream that is moving the air east across the Atlantic, that jet stream moves north and south every day a litlle bit, ever changing. Sometimes he is aroung 64°N like now and the wind over Iceland is blown to the East but if he is further south then the wind over Iceland can be in westerly direction because wind systems are circles. But it is true that it is more common that they are in easterly direction overall in the Atlantic, but no reason to be rude about it

Can I ask you guys one thing? Is the True Christians the only one that are safe? What makes a person true Christian?

But I do not believe in man (or women) taking the word of God and using it for their own agenda, good or bad as the agend may be. To me there is way too much of that going on in the world. People using the true word of God for evil deeds.

This verse was spoken by King David and offered Shimei mercy on condition that Shimei was placed under house arrest in Jerusalem.

However, we read

1Ki:2:40: And Shimei arose, and saddled his ass, and went to Gath to Achish to seek his servants: and Shimei went, and brought his servants from Gath.

He therefore disobeyed the King, broke his promise to remain under house arrest and it was for this that he was put to death.

So we now see that Shimei’s transgression received its just recompense of reward.
