  • "Nightmare bacteria" disprove evolution.

This morning's Washington False Christian Compost has some bad news for monkey-worshiping evil-utionists:
CDC says ‘nightmare bacteria’ a growing threat

Federal officials warned Tuesday that “nightmare bacteria” — including the deadly superbug that struck a National Institutes of Health facility two years ago — are increasingly resistant to even the strongest antibiotics, posing a growing threat to hospitals and nursing homes nationwide.

    * * *

“Not all fevers require antibiotics. The more we use antibiotics, the more we encourage the spread of antibiotic resistance,” Frieden said.
If evil-ution were true, we'd be able to evolve resistance to the superbugs at the same rate at which they become antibiotic-resistant.

One person in the comments section actually understands evil-ution enough to understand that the superbugs are not an example of evil-ution:
If you had studied you'd know it's not evolution at all: The bacteria that survive aren't strong, they are defective examples that can't metabolise food properly, or pump fluid fast through their skin. The healthy bacteria all get killed off by the chems, leaving the defective ones able to succeed in the now-empty environment.
When the penicillin is removed, the healthy bacteria repopulate and squeeze out the mutants. That's why hospitals have the problem: they use penicillin and bleach all the time. The 'superbugs' have a broken mechanism which enables them to survive, but they are not more complex or superior in any way. Studies of these bacteria and other organisms show this.
Finally, I believe that superbugs are one of the Lord's ways of showing us how dependent we are on Him rather than on sick-ular science:

2 Chron. 16:12-13: And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease [was] exceeding [great]: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians. And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

I considered this person's theory, and it seems quite solid. He is, in fact, suggesting that both the "super-bacteria" and the "good bacteria" co-exist, and that the "super bacteria" have a stealth mechanism - as created by God - so they are not detected. However, once the "good bacteria" are killed of, these demons throw off their cloak of invisibility and attack!

This is an alternative view to the well-established "spontaneous generations" law, in which the "super bacteria" are simply created in the system by God.

I'm now off to Landover Memorial Hospital to obtain samples and experiment.

So finally the secularists ADMIT that evolution is nothing but a conspiracy to corrupt God's PERFECT creation.

Oh, you have a Christian going to Heaven, give him some penicillin and some bleach and suddenly he's not one of the chosen elect and going to Hell.

No wonder secularists are so desperate to fake fossils and claim the earth is millions of years old. They all want us in Hell, being ass raped for all eternity.

I'm still not entirely comfortable with this bacteria word to describe demons and plagues inflicted by God. It all sounds a bit like scientists trying to distract from His glory and make it all sound like grubby naturalistic stuff like they say everything is. I think that when you get right down to it it's best to stick with the Bible. I mean, if there were invisible tiny demons causing disease Jesus would have known about it and mentioned it instead of casting out demons and rubbing spittle on people's eyes! surely this above all other things shows that God has no truck with this bacteria nonsense.

          DDT
DDT kills all bugs. I spray down every new employee and burn all their clothes to ensure no bugs.

No employee of mine has ever died from a super bug. Everyone died from a accident involving the combine, falling off a cliff, laziness or bad mouthing Jesus.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Interesting you mention DDT James. I remember as a child being out in the crop fields when the plane would fly by releasing its chemicals upon us. How the eyes burned, their irritation and the breath of air that escaped my lungs.

Here's a clip of interest in an Apologetics book titled Evolution Fact or Fantasy:

"When a population of insects is sprayed with a deadly chemical like DDT, the most susceptible insects die but the individuals most resistant to the poison survive to breed and leave offspring, which inherit the genes that provide resistance. After many generations of insects have been sprayed, the entire surviving population may be comprised of the DDT-resistant variety, and some new form of insect control will have to be applied. When the environment becomes free of the toxic chemical, the insect population tends to revert to what it was before.

A similar effect explains how disease-causing bacteria become resistant to antibiotic drugs like penicillin, when then are no longer as effective in controlling the disease as they formerly were.

Almost all illustrations of “evolution in action” in textbooks or museum exhibits are similar to these examples. They involve no increase in complexity or appearance of new body parts or even permanent change of any kind. Small-scale, reversible population variations of this sort are usually called microevolution, although “adaptive variation” would be a better term.

It is misleading to describe adaptive variation as “evolution,” because the latter term commonly refers also to macroevolution. Macroevolution is the grand story of how life supposedly evolved by purely natural processes from very simple beginnings to become complex, multicolor plants and animals, and eventually human beings, without God’s participation being needed at any step along the way...

            Praise Him!!!

Exactly! Since bacteria are not mentioned in the Bible, then they cannot be real! God creates plagues and diseases as He pleases, He doesn't need any invisible bugs for that:

Deuteronomy 28:59 Then the Lord will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of the seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sickness, and of long continuance.

Once God decides to send a plague, He also chooses who will live and who will die (so all of the talk of resistance and defense mechanism is completely false), as described e.g in Numbers 16:46-50.
God created fossils to test our faith.

                  Re: "Nightmare bacteria" disprove evolution.

Most of the evolution process is now a proven theory and has become fact. Natural selection is the 'theory' that *explains* that 'fact'. Any one who denies evolution is an ignorant fool. Anytime science contradicts the bible, you just blame it on Satan.

There is no blame. It is simply the difference between faith and science.

The difference is that, by definition science is tentative. That means it cannot have certainty.

Religion gives people so much certainty that they do not have to think. I'm sure you have heard of Occam's Razor: 'the addition of extraneous additional entities is unparsimonious'.

Well the simplest (Platonic) ideal is one that does not exist in the real world but is the perfect form of example.

So you see God (Jesus) is the de facto Platonic form of reality. His existence is demanded by science: other wise we must add more Platonic entities to justify the first. Does that make sense?

                          DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?

                          No. The conclusion is God.

I'll leave you to process that one.

Humans are complex. We took 2.2 million years to get from our earliest ancestors to where we are now. Homo sapiens (humans) have been around for 250,000 years. Humans evolve slowly. Bacteria have had more time than us humans. Bacteria have lived on earth for approximately 3.5 billion years, more than 1000 times the amount that humans have.
